Rescue Organizations are always in great need of volunteerism to assist
with daily tasks as well as fostering capabilities. Often times individuals
that are enthusiastic towards horses but are unable to support a rescue
monetarily question other ways they can provide help. There are many
other necessary daily tasks that rescues encounter. Examples of other
ways an individual can assist may be to do a site check on a potential
adopter, do pre-screening of interested adopters, make followup calls
to those that have already adopted from a rescue, send faxes or make
calls associated to the rescue and for those talented technology
individuals- assist in website updates.
Qualified fostering positions are always in great need. If there's an
available open stall or paddock with run-in shed and you can provide
the daily care required to maintain a horse it can prove to be a very
rewarding a satisfying experience. Foster homes that can provide full
care at no cost or little cost to the rescue can be a tremendous asset
and in some instances enable the ability to save a horse. You will be
expected to submit photos of your facility (where the horse will be
stabled) as well as other verifiable information and references.
If you are interested in voluteering for either types of these positions,
please fill out the inquiry form below. For those that may have special
skills to volunteer (non-fostering volunteer), please include those skills
with your inquiry. We will review the inquiry and followup accordingly.
We are creating a database to provide information to the various rescues
we work with. Hopefully, this information will enable the rescues
to save more horses.
Thank you!
